3. RAW Format Challenges
Each camera manufacturer uses a proprietary RAW format based on the TIFF/EP standard (ISO 12234-2) with custom extensions. Enhanced Camera Recovery recognizes all of them:

4. In-Camera Formatting — Manufacturer Variations
Not all camera formats are equal. Canon and Nikon typically perform a quick format (FAT tables only — easily recoverable). Sony and some Panasonic models may perform a deeper format that overwrites more metadata. 5. Fragmented Video Recovery
4K and 8K video files from cameras are enormous (5-50 GB per clip) and almost always fragmented. GoPro cameras split recordings into chapters (~4 GB or ~12 min each).
