30-Day Refund Guarantee for Software Technical Issues
If you request a refund within 30 calendar days of purchase because a technical issue with XRecovery prevents you from recovering the files for which you purchased the license, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid for that order if reasonable troubleshooting cannot resolve the issue.
This guarantee applies when you use XRecovery in a supported environment and follow the product instructions. It covers software errors that prevent recovery or export, including cases where a file previews correctly in XRecovery but the recovered file cannot be used because of a technical issue with the software.
Preview and Recovery Limitations
We recommend scanning and previewing your target files before purchasing. A scan result, file name, or estimated recovery chance does not by itself establish that a file can be recovered intact. Some file types may not support preview; an unavailable preview alone neither proves a software defect nor automatically disqualifies a refund request.
The guarantee does not promise that all lost data can be recovered. Recovery may be impossible because data has been overwritten, the original file is already damaged, a storage device has a physical fault, or another underlying data or device condition prevents recovery. Failure caused solely by these conditions is outside this software-issue guarantee. If the cause is unclear, contact us so that we can assess it rather than assuming that the failure is your responsibility.
How to Request a Refund
Submit your request through our Contact Us page within 30 calendar days of purchase. Include your order reference, the XRecovery version, your operating system, and a description of the problem. Relevant error messages or screenshots can help us investigate. You do not need to prove a defect in the program code or provide private file contents to submit a request.
The date you first submit the refund request determines whether it meets the 30-day deadline. A request submitted within that period remains eligible while we carry out reasonable troubleshooting; the deadline does not expire merely because our review takes longer. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to assess the issue, and will explain why it is needed.
Partial Recovery and Refund Processing
Recovering some files does not automatically disqualify your request. If a software technical issue still prevents recovery of the files for which you purchased the license and reasonable troubleshooting cannot resolve it, the full-refund guarantee applies.
Once a refund is approved, we will refund the full amount paid for the affected order through the original payment method where available and confirm when it has been issued. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider. The refunded license will be deactivated, and you must stop using that paid license.
Your Statutory Rights
This voluntary guarantee is additional to, and does not limit, any mandatory consumer rights or remedies under applicable law. Its 30-day request period does not restrict those statutory rights. Any legally valid loss of a digital-content withdrawal right does not remove this voluntary guarantee or applicable rights concerning faulty or non-conforming digital content.
